The seaside town of Ballycastle offers many facilities, including four small supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and cafes, petrol station, fish & chip shops, chinese takeaway, a chemist, butcher, several churches and a post office.
The many activities available include an excellent 18 hole golf course, marina, tennis courts, traditional music, a children's playground, pony trekking, sea fishing, beaches, surfing and coastal walks.
Go east through the scenic Glens of Antrim to Cushendall, Cushendun and Glenariff. Or go north to Rathlin Island, Fairhead and Murlough Bay where you can enjoy some stunning wildlife, fishing and diving.
There are numerous white sandy beaches throughout the area, including Ballycastle Strand, perfect for a brisk morning walk, or the panoramic White Park Bay.
The Cottage lies 3 miles west of Ballycastle along the B67 (Moyarget Road) towards Coleraine. It is 200 yards up a tree lined lane.
