What is the check in & out time?


Check-In: 04:00 PM We like to meet all our guests on arrival and ensure fires are lit and kettle boiled. Please can you let us know your arrival time in advance so that we can check you in. Check-Out: 10:00 AM We like to personally say goodbye to you, check your accommodation. If leaving very early, please tell us on arrival.




What is provided in the kitchen?


The kitchen is well stocked and includes crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, bake ware, cooking utensils, a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, oven, hob, dish washer and washing machine / dryer.




When do we get keys to the Bothy?


We like to meet all our guests on arrival or if arriving very late we will tell you where to access the keys.




What if there is a problem with the property when I arrive?


Please tell us within the first 24 hours of any problems you find and we will do our best to resolve them.




Do we need to clean the property before we leave?


Please leave the Bothy clean and tidy at the end of your stay including all equipment and utensils which you have used. Rubbish should be put into the appropriate black/blue/green wheelie bins. Please could you also strip the beds. Thank you




What about dogs and other pets?


Some of our customers have allergies to pets and we therefore operate a no pets policy at the Bothy and are unable to accommodate any requests.




Will the property be stocked with basic food supplies?


We provide a 'Get you in Pack' which includes basic consumables such as tea, coffee, freshly baked bread, eggs, butter, milk, orange juice, sugar, salt, pepper, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, cleaning materials and loo roll.




Will I have to pay any local taxes?


No, these are all included in the cost of your accommodation.




Should I bring my own bed linen and towels?


We provide Egyptian cotton bed linen, hand and bath towels together with bathroom and kitchen toiletries.




Is there WiFi at the property?


WiFi internet access is provided free of charge to all guests with login details provided on arrival.

Can I book the Bothy & pay online?


Yes, you can. Please click on the Book your Stay page and select your preferred start date, you will then need to select the amount of nights you wish to stay, the number of people and the tariff will then calculate automatically and display below. If you are happy to proceed; please click on the green 'Book now!' button. Please fill in the booking form on the next page and choose your prefered secure payment option. We accept most payment methods including PayPal.




Do you provide a cot or high chair?


We can provide these upon request. Please let us know in advance so that we can have these ready and waiting for you.




Is heating/electricity included within the price of my booking?


A starter pack for our eco friendly wood burning stove is included together with oil fired central heating and electricity.
